No. 44 - Updated Bio & Posts from the Week

This week, I’ve found a lot of creative clarity. I have a few external factors to credit for this, but I also think time and acceptance are to thank.

I recently updated my Substack bio, which I’m sure you all noticed - sarcasm.

This was due in part to reading a wonderful essay by Mike Monteiro called How to Make a Book and an equally wonderful essay for photographers on Substack by Lucy Lumen.

I won’t go into the full details of each article. You’ll have to read those yourself, but I can tell you that both essays reminded me that not all creative pursuits look the same, and you shouldn’t wait for other people to tell you what and how to do a thing.

Instead of hiding my multiple interests and keeping quiet about my projects and curiosities, I will share the project fatigue that I’ve been exhausting everyone with my entire life.

I’ll write about this project fatigue and “having the receipts” to have earned the right to share it later.

In the meantime, I hope you all are having a wonderful time with life, staying out of bad trouble and finding some good trouble.
