Hello friends,

I spent a glorious morning with my brother on the water looking at sailboats from our brightly colored kayaks. As I type this, the sun is setting, my tea is warm, and my tiny tomato seeds have started to sprout.

I am exhausted and happy. I hope you are, too.

Now, enjoy this short List of Interesting Things -

šŸ“A List of Interesting Things

šŸErika Thompson - I’ve been fascinated by beekeepers lately. I stumbled upon a lady who is TikTok famous for rescuing bees. You may have heard of her - Erika Thompson.

If you haven’t heard of her, she’s lovely and knowledgable. Her videos are just fascinating!

After watching a few of her short videos on YouTube, I found out she was on the Joe Rogan podcast. So, obviously, I stopped what I was doing to listen.

If you are interested in bees and beekeeping at all, give this one a listen. You won’t regret it.

šŸš£ā€ā™€ļø The Oru Inlet - If you love kayaking, you’ve probably researched foldable kayaks here and there, which means you’ve come across the Oru Kayak. It’s a foldable, hard-shell kayak that can be carried like a suitcase.

Well, I have one. Today, I took her on her maiden voyage.

Before I went to the lake, I practiced unfolding and folding the boat for about an hour.

After I was confident I wouldn’t look like an idiot, I set out for the paddle!

Long story short - It was weird floating in such light material, but she maneuvers well and gets pretty good speed. I loved it!

Next time, I’ll be more comfortable and will take a lot more pictures for you all.
